The move to our new Showground on Langton Road for the 2022 show has proved to be a resounding success.
The Showground site is now just to the North of Slawston village, off the Cranoe to Hallaton Road. The 30 acres of pasture land provides a large, level and well drained area, with safe access for visitors, livestock and vehicles. It provides the scope to accommodate the displays, stalls, competitions and entertainment that Blaston Show is known for. There is more than adequate parking for cars with space for lorries and heavy exhibition vehicles to manoeuvre.
For those who couldn’t attend the 2022 show, we have left the previous, and well loved, showground site here on the ariel map as reference. We would also like to give our grateful thanks to the Miller family of Black Horse Farm for their support and generosity for allowing us to use that site for over 20 years.
The Trustees and the Committee have continued to work on the show’s behalf to ensure that the show continues to go from strength to strength offering a wonderful family day out, with something for everyone.
We have shows of cattle, sheep & lambs, sheep shearing, goats, dogs of all breeds, including working dogs, hounds, horses with hunter trials, show ponies, together with the largest vintage tractor gathering in the county. Our regular classic car display, many of whom will engage on a friendly arranged ‘run’ around the local countryside, before parading in the ring for judging; if you have a classic car why not join in?
We look forward to welcoming you to the 2023 Blaston Show.
