Visitors to this year’s Blaston Show are in for a spectacular sight, with an iconic Hawker Hurricane flypast confirmed for 4pm on Sunday 28 June.
The flypast is being provided courtesy of the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) and will see the famous World War II fighter aircraft pass over the Blaston Showground, adding a memorable finale to the day’s celebrations.
The Hurricane played a pivotal role during the Battle of Britain.  Seeing this historic aircraft in flight offers a unique opportunity to remember the courage and sacrifice of those who served during the Second World War.

The Hurricane is an iconic aircraft and its flypast will be a fitting tribute to those who served during the Second World War. We are incredibly grateful to the BBMF for sharing this remarkable piece of our nation’s heritage with our visitors.”
