With just over a week to go until Blaston Show returns on Sunday 28th June, organisers have unveiled an exciting Main Ring programme packed with entertainment, countryside traditions and family favourites.
One of Leicestershire’s most loved traditional country shows, Blaston Show promises a full day of attractions for visitors of all ages, with the Main Ring set to be at the heart of the action.
From the skill and precision of working sheepdogs and show jumping horses to the spectacle of classic vehicles and the thrill of lawnmower racing, this year’s line-up offers something for everyone.
The confirmed Main Ring schedule is as follows:
- 8.30am – 12.00pm: Horses – Show Jumping
- 12.00pm – 12.30pm: Sheep Dog Display
- 12.30pm – 1.00pm: Classic Car Parade
- 1.00pm – 1.30pm: Parade of Fernie Hounds, Westerby Basset Hounds & Blood Hounds
- 1.30pm – 2.00pm: Young Farmers Club Showcase
- 2.00pm – 2.30pm: A Bit on the Side – Side Saddle Display Team
- 2.30pm – 3.15pm: Terrier Racing
- 3.15pm – 3.45pm: Blaston Lawn Prix Lawnmower Racing
- 3.45pm – 4.00pm: Children’s Ridden Fancy Dress
- 4.00pm – 4.30pm: Grand Show Parade
- 4.30pm – 5.00pm: Vintage & Classic Tractor Parade
Alongside the Main Ring attractions, visitors can enjoy livestock competitions, equestrian classes, the Companion Dog Show, trade stands, rural crafts, agricultural exhibitors, children’s entertainment, food and drink, and much more.
