Members have played a vital part of the Show over the years. As well as supporting both the local agricultural & rural community and the selected Show charities, being a member of the Show Society also brings unique benefits.
The feedback we received from last year’s members and Show goers has also been taken on board in developing this year’s Show. There will be a covered public catering area, additional trade stands, an all-new cattle exhibit and many other additional attractions. The main charity that the Society is supporting this year is the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.
Membership fees for the Society have been frozen meaning that an individual membership subscription is £10.00 and a family membership subscription is £20.00 (2 adults and their children). Being a member of the Society brings the following benefits:
- Free entry to the Show (member’s badges and car passes will be posted in June)
- Free entry to the member’s area of the main Show marquee
- Invitation to the member’s luncheon (tickets to be purchased prior to the Show)
- Reduced entry fees to Show classes and competitions (on the day of the Show)
- Exclusive member’s forward car park
- Inclusion on the member’s list in the 2010 Show catalogue (if application received before 30th April 2010)
